Ensenada is a cruise port found on an inlet of the Pacific Ocean in Mexico. It is a fishing and commercial port as well as an entry point into Mexico. One of the must see tourist spots on Ensenada is La Bufadora. This is a blowhole/geysers with a view off of a cliff to the ocean that is absolutely priceless. The waves crash against the coast with such force and magnitude that can make you realize how beautifully nature works. The best way to get around is by foot or by bicycle which can be rented from several spots. You can also hike in several areas and can be done on the nearby Canon de Dona Petra, and on the near Laguna Hanson.
What to wear in Ensenada
Ensenada overall has very pleasant weather with the sea bringing cool air in hot days and not much cold in the winters. It can get chilly so it is advised to have different articles of clothing such as jackets, long pants, and be able to adjust. So depending upon when you plan to travel it will not hurt to pack a few different layers of cloths, even on day trips.
Ensenada is also knows for their wineries. Many wineries exist on the outskirts of the city in the Valle de Guadalupe and an hour south at Santo Thomas. The wineries are located along Highway 3 to Tecate. You will need to set up a tour in advance so keep that in mind as well. Ensenada is a beautiful escape for those who love to be one with nature, taste new things, and have a once in a life time experience.
