How to get there
The best way to get to Patmos is through Athens. From there you can fly directly or take a ferry (depending on which port you are coming from) to one of several ports on Patmos: Chora and Skala. If you would rather get there by land, it is possible but will require taking a ferry from Athens to another island such as Rhodes and then from Rhodes again onto Patmos; however, be prepared for long wait times at each port along with steep ticket prices.
