Best Bahamas Islands to visit

  • Andros is the unexplored back country, 2300 sq miles of mangrove swamps, palm savannas and forests with Boar. A definite favorite for the explorer.
  • Nassau and Paradise Island, Nassau is the capital of the Bahamas, the island boasts resorts, hotels, restaurants, shops, nightlife, golf course, aquarium and a casino.  Most cruises have shore excursions to the Atlantis resort.  It can be expensive off the ship and you can do it yourself by taking a cab.  You will want to prebook a stay at the Quality Inn next door (you won’t actually be staying).  All hotels on the island have exchange privileges at Atlantis.  They will let you use a room if you want, but you are basically paying for a reduced admission to Atlantis.
  • Eleuthera and Harbour Island is an island of casual sophistication. It has well developed resorts, rocky bluffs, low lying wetlands, pink sand beaches and coral reef. Recently ranked the best island in the Bahamas by Travel and Leisure Magazine in 2015. Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has their private island resort on Eleuthera.
  • Grand Bahama Island has one of the Worlds largest under water cave systems. There are also 3 National Parks, endless beaches and crisp blue water.
